Anitha Kurup, Ph.D.
An experienced crisis manager, he served for six years with the U.S. State Department’s Diplomatic Security Service, and he received seven commendation awards from the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) during a 20-year career as an F.B.I. Special Agent investigating drug trafficking, Russian organized crime, espionage and terrorism, and for service during emergencies as an F.B.I. crisis manager and hostage negotiator. In 1998 he was named “Law Enforcement Officer of the Year” by the U.S. Attorney in South Florida. Before his civilian career he served six years as a U.S. Air Force intelligence officer.
Dr. Jerry F. Miller first served in the United States Air Force as a rescue/special operations helicopter pilot. He achieved the rank of colonel before retirement from the Air Force. In addition to being an aircrew commander, he was also a resources, planning, and programming officer, deliberate plans officer, and foreign area officer for Latin America during his time in uniform.
Nathaniel “Nate” Tarlow is an attorney and owner of the law firm Tarlow Legal Associates, LLP in Houston, Texas. His practice focuses on criminal defense, and some civil and administrative law matters. Nate’s initial working years in a Nevada casino and as a bilingual tour guide at Hoover Dam taught him the value and importance of good people skills and interacting productively with racially, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse people.
